Services

Analysis, pipelines and data QC — scoped as fixed deliverables

Four service lines built around one observation: labs under about fifty people generate more data than they can defensibly analyse, and cannot justify a permanent data hire.

01 — Lead service

Biostatistics & statistical analysis

For teams that have the data and the biology, and need the statistics to hold up under review.

What we deliver

  • Study design review and sample-size or power justification, written so it can go into a grant or protocol
  • Statistical analysis plan documenting endpoints, models and handling of missing data before analysis begins
  • Regression, ANOVA, mixed-effects and repeated-measures models with assumption checks shown, not assumed
  • Survival and time-to-event analysis, including Kaplan–Meier estimates and Cox models
  • Publication-ready tables and figures, plus a methods and results section written in plain scientific English
  • Commented R, Python or SAS scripts that reproduce every number in the report

Typical clients

Academic research groups, graduate students facing a thesis committee, small biotech teams without a statistician, and clinics analysing their own outcome data.

Typical trigger

A reviewer asked how the sample size was justified, or a dataset has been sitting analysed-but-unwritten for months.

02 — Lead service

Bioinformatics support

Sequencing output turned into interpretable biology, without hiring a full-time bioinformatician.

What we deliver

  • Bulk RNA-seq processing and differential expression, from raw reads through annotated result tables
  • DNA methylation and epigenetic array or sequencing analysis
  • Microbiome and metagenomic profiling with diversity and composition analysis
  • Variant calling and annotation workflows for targeted or whole-genome data
  • Proteomics and phosphoproteomics quantification support
  • Figure sets built for manuscripts and investor decks — volcano plots, heatmaps, PCA, pathway enrichment
  • Documented, re-runnable pipelines so the next batch does not start from zero

Typical clients

Small biotechs and diagnostics companies generating sequencing data faster than they can analyse it, and core facilities needing overflow capacity.

Typical trigger

A sequencing run has landed, the deadline is real, and the one person who knows the pipeline has left or is booked solid.

03

QA / QC data review

A second set of eyes on the data and documentation you are about to stand behind.

What we deliver

  • Systematic dataset review for transcription errors, unit inconsistencies, duplicated records and impossible values
  • Control-chart and trend review to surface drifting instruments or shifting baselines
  • Method validation report review against the acceptance criteria you have committed to
  • SOP review for clarity, internal consistency and whether the written procedure matches what the bench actually does
  • A written findings log ranked by risk, with concrete remediation steps

Typical clients

Small contract labs, environmental and materials testing firms, and CROs needing independent overflow QA during a busy quarter.

04

GLP & GCLP QA support

Documentation and gap-analysis capacity for regulated labs, on a project basis.

What we deliver

  • Study file and raw-data documentation review for completeness and traceability
  • Gap analysis of current practice against your quality manual and applicable GLP or GCLP expectations
  • Audit and inspection preparation support, including mock document reviews and finding-response drafting
  • Data-integrity review covering attribution, contemporaneous recording and audit trails

Scope note: we provide documentation and data review support. We are not a certifying body, we do not issue regulatory approvals, and we do not act as your official Quality Assurance Unit of record.

Boundaries

What we do not do

Being clear about this saves everyone a call.

No wet-lab work

No sample handling, no assays, no instrument time. We work downstream of the bench.

No clinical advice

We analyse data. We do not diagnose, treat, or make medical recommendations about individuals.

No regulatory sign-off

We support submissions and audits with analysis and documentation. Accountability stays with your quality unit.

Tell us where your lab data gets stuck.

A 20-minute scoping call. We map your data flow, name the bottleneck, and tell you plainly whether this is worth paying for.
